Hyderabad: Horrifying undercover footage from inside a Hyderabad’s slaughterhouse shows incompetent workers killing the cows with a bolt-gun.

Cattle slaughter in India is a historically taboo subject because of the cow’s traditional status as a respected creature of God, in Hinduism. Article 48 of the Constitution of India mandates the state to prohibit the slaughter of cows and calves and other milch and drought cattle.
Here is the video which shows how brutally the cows are slaughtered who as still alive after being shot in the head then being suffocated by workers who stand on their mouths and nostrils preventing the cows from breathing. Most of the animals slaughtered are ‘spent’ dairy cows who are no longer economically viable as milk-producers to the dairy industry.
