Elephant digs a hole for 11 hours to save her baby!! A mother would do anything to save her baby. There is nothing more dangerous in the world than disturbing a mother who is taking care of her kids.
The similar motherly instinct was shown by this ‘Mommy- elephant of the year’. Going into the details, a baby elephant was stuck in a hole accidentally and The determined Mom refused to leave her calf down there, staying with the youngster for 11 hours, first using her trunk and then her feet in a bid to haul her precious baby to safety.
Unfortunately the frantic mother made matters worse by accidentally pushing more mud into the well and almost smothering the baby, which was trapped from 9pm until 8am the following morning.
Unfortunately, humans could not help with the rescue because they risked facing an enraged and defensive mother elephant. If the elephant felt threatened, she might trample the bystanders potentially killing or injuring them severely. Like I said Really dangerous. The entire incident ended with a positive result and thanks to tireless efforts of mommy elephant, the baby elephant is now safe.
