Florida: People might be Animal friendly but not as friendly to have an alligator as a pet at home. Mary Thorn, a pro wrestler from Lakeland Florida has a 15-year-old alligator, who is a very important part of her family and she considers him very dear to her.
Rambo, six-feet-long alligator wears jackets, rides ATVs and understands sign language. In fact Thorn claims that he is potty-trained.

“People think I’m crazy but there were four when I started out. I tried treating them like gators they started to die sun sensitive their immune system was shot so they catch illnesses easy Rambo is the last one I never believed that he would live to be 6 ft but he has now they want him out side and want me to 2 1/3 a acres of land he can’t go out on land so what’s the point he will die of sun exposure in ten to thirty minutes. This makes no sense thought FWC was supposed to be for the animals why stress him out let him stay home,” she writes in her post.

or“Rambo,” the six-foot alligator is like Mary Thorn’s baby. “A normal gator would have just ate my face off right now,” the Lakeland woman says as she gives him kisses. After 10 years as her pet, she’s hoping the FWC will allow her to keep him.
