32-year-old Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who was working at GPS-maker Garmin headquarters in Olathe, was killed after he was shot by a navy veteran yelling “get out of my country” and “terrorist” at a bar on Wednesday night in Kansas City in the state of Missouri.

On Saturday morning Satya Nadella, the Indian born Chief of Microsoft, said that there was no place for senseless violence and bigotry in society. In the statement he also condemned the shooting incident in Kansas where an Indian techie was killed.

Nadella on his Twitter account posted, “There’s no place for senseless violence & bigotry in our society. My heart is with the victims & families of the horrific shooting in Kansas.”

32-year-old Srinivas Kuchibhotla, who was working at GPS-maker Garmin headquarters in Olathe, was killed after he was shot by a Navy veteran yelling “get out of my country” and “terrorist” at a bar on Wednesday night in Kansas City in the state of Missouri.

A GPS maker Garmin’s employee, Srinivas Kuchibhotla a 32 year old was killed by a Navy veteran. While shooting the Navy veteran yelled, ‘Get out of my Country’ and ‘terrorist’ on Wednesday night at a bar in Kansas City of Missouri. In the same incident where the 51 year old opened fire, a colleague of Srinivas, Alok Madasani was injured. Another American who tried to stop the fire was gravely injured in the incident too.

In an interaction with students earlier this month, Hyderabad born Nadella stressed on the importance of diversity and inclusion amidst the divisive environment. Also, in an employee Q & A on January 30, he had addressed the executive order on immigration issued by President Trump and said that there was no place for bias and bigotry in any society.

These comments by Nadella come in the light of the divisive and anti immigrant laws that are passed in the USA under the Trump administration.
