On the 7th of November, the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases in the Nation crossed 8.46 million cases.
With 50,356 new cases in the past 24 hours, India reported 84,62,020 cases till the 7th of November.
In addition, the number of recoveries reported in the past 24 hours stood at 53,920 and death cases were below 500.
The updated data regarding the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 was given by the Union Health Ministry.

In addition, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) confirmed 11,13,209 samples being tested for COVID-19 on the 6th of November, taking the cumulative total to 11,65,42,304 tests till date.
With these updates, India has 84,62,020 positive cases, of which 78,19,886 recovered/discharged cases, 5,16,632 active cases and 1,25,562 deceased.
The recovery rate in India from COVID-19 is 92.41 %, active cases rate at 6.11 % and fatality rate at 1.48 %.
On the other hand, Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh continue to be the worst affected states by the pandemic Novel Coronavirus.
As per Friday, the 6th of November data, Maharashtra with 10,259 new cases once again contributed the highest number of daily cases.
Meanwhile, with more than 7,000 new cases in a day, Delhi once again started reporting maximum number of COVID-19 cases, which could be a third wave of the infection in the National Capital.
Meanwhile, the global Coronavirus tally is nearing the 50 million mark (49,718,128) which comprises 1,248,566 deaths and 35,251,727 recoveries.

As per the Worldometres data, the United States of America continues to be the worst COVID-19 affected nation with 10,060,464 cases, followed by India with 8,462,080.
