Amaravati: “No one can move Amaravati. The city is protected by Amareshwar on one side and Durga on the other. It is destined to shine,” declared Avadhani Naga Phani Sharma during the Ugadi celebrations at Tummalapalli Kalakshetra, Vijayawada.
Speaking at the event, he stated that Amaravati will rise again in the year of Vishwavasu and become a global city. He praised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, calling him a visionary leader known for building hi-tech cities, drawing comparisons to his role in Hyderabad’s transformation. Sharma expressed confidence that Naidu’s initiatives will succeed and predicted that he would serve as CM for multiple terms.
The astrologer also forecasted abundant rainfall across Andhra Pradesh, ensuring strong agricultural growth. He highlighted the state’s rapid educational progress, predicting the establishment of major universities and extensive charitable initiatives. He also mentioned that the renovation of temples and advancements in arts, education, and research would mark this year’s development.
His statements come as Amaravati remains a focal point in Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape, with ongoing debates on its status as the state capital.
