On the 11th of May, Andhra Pradesh reported 38 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus infection, taking the total to 2,018 cases in the State.
The daily cases decreased with a 50% patient recovery rate. The state has the highest cases of recovered cases compared to the active cases. According to COVID- 19 data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW,) A.P., State has 975 active cases and 998 recovered/discharged cases with 45 fatalities till the 11th of May.
The cases were detected after the State medical department conducted COVID-19 tests for 7,409 samples in the last 24 hours.
Of the 38 new cases, 8 cases reported from Anatapur, 9 each in Chittoor and Kurnool, 5 in Guntur, 3 in Krishna, 1 in Nellore, and 3 in Visakhapatnam.
Of the total 13 districts in AP, Kurnool has the highest number of covid-19 cases with 575 COVID-19 cases, followed by Guntur with 387, Krishna with 342 and Chittoor 121 patients. These four districts recorded 1425 of the total 2,018 cases in the state.
