Amaravati: In a highly anticipated announcement, the Andhra Pradesh government unveiled the new Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Trust Board on Wednesday. Media mogul Bollineni Rajagopal Naidu, commonly known as BR Naidu, has been appointed chairman of the 24-member board, which oversees the administration and development of the prominent Tirumala temple.

Several notable figures from politics, business, and the arts have been appointed to the board. TDP representatives Jyotula Nehru, Vemireddy Prashanthi, and MMS Raju have secured seats. Additionally, former Union Minister Panabaka Lakshmi from Telangana, along with Nannuri Narsireddy and Justice H.L. Dutt from Tamil Nadu, and Krishnamurthy and Darshan Aram from Karnataka, are among the newly appointed members.

From the Janasena party, Pawan Kalyan’s close associate and art director Anand Sai, along with Telangana Janasena leader D. Mahender Reddy, and Anugolu Ranga Sri, wife of Pawan Kalyan’s auditor A. Ratnam, have been selected to represent the party on the board.

In an added highlight, Bharat Biotech Managing Director and co-founder Suchitra Ella has also joined the board, bringing a strong business and healthcare perspective to the TTD’s future initiatives.

The TTD Trust Board, with a diverse mix of expertise across various sectors, is expected to spearhead new projects and policies for Tirumala’s development under the leadership of Chairman BR Naidu.
