The Andhra Pradesh Monsoon Assembly session is expected to begin in September.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government decided to conduct The Assembly session in mid September.
Although a final decision regarding the number of days is awaited, the Assembly session is likely to be held for 10 days. During the session, the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy Government would discuss various issues, including important bills, legislative matters, the ongoing situation due to the Wuhan virus and welfare activities.
However, a brief detail regarding the matter to be discussed is yet to be disclosed by the ruling Government. Adding to it, a reliable source, wishing to be anonymous, said, the State Government has decided to conduct the A.P., Budget Session in between the Assembly Session for a day.
Meanwhile, after dismissing the biometric system for attendance at the Secretariat in 2020, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P.,asked the officials to arrange a biometric system again for attendance. In regard to this,on the 24th of August, the A.P., Chief Secretary (CS) Mr. Adityanath Das, issued an order and asked officials to make the necessary arrangements. He directed the Information Technology, Electronic and Communication (ITE&C) Department to see that the devices are operational in the secretariat and other offices immediately.
It is to be noted, an official notification/announcement regarding the dates of the upcoming A.P., Monsoon Assembly Session is awaited.
