The Andhra Pradesh Health Department on the 2nd of October, reported as many as 6,555 New new Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases
With this, the State reported a total of 7,06,790 positive cases, of which 56,897 are active cases, 6,43,993 are recovered/discharged cases and 5,900 deceased.
In the past 24 hours, the State Health Department conducted as many as 70,399 tests for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Till date, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 59,48,534 test.
According to the released report, East Godavari (9,323,) has the highest number of active Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19. After East Godavari, West Godavari (7,255,) reported highest, followed by Prakasam (6,660,) Chittoor (6,132) and Guntur (5,504.)
In addition, the recovery rate of Andhra Pradesh crossed 80%.
