Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 28th of May, called N. Chandrababu Naidu for his oath taking ceremony, on the 30th of May.
N. Chandrababu Naidu is the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP.) The Naidu led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was voted out of power in the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The YSRCP won the AP elections with a majority of 150 Assembly seats and 22 Lok Sabha seats.
Jagan also invited K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is expected both KCR and PM Modi will attend the oath taking ceremony of Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The event will be attended by approximately 11,500 officials including the Governor, members of the judiciary, Indian Administrative Service officers, IPS officers, Members of Parliament (MPs,) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs.) The officials are scheduled to appear with their families.
Jagan Mohan Reddy will take oath as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh at 12:23 P.M., on the 30th of May. The ceremony will be held at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada.
