N. Balakrishna, a sitting Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) kick started a campaign in Hindupur, ahead of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
Balakrishna is conducting several public rallies and addressing the citizens of Hindupur to gain votes in favour of the TDP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Mr. Balakrishna, a member of the TDP, addressed the public and highlighted the welfare schemes and development projects undertaken by the Party for the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.
Balakrishna said, the TDP deserves the support of the people, as the Party has done a lot for the poorer section of the State, in the field of education, technology etc.
Balakrishna received a warm welcome in the areas where he organised public rallies. The areas covered by him were Cherlopalle, Balampalle, Berepalle, Peddagudem, Chinnaguddempalle, Rachapalle, Jangalapalle and Meenakuntapalle in Hindupur.
The TDP is conducting campaigns across Andhra Pradesh and will continue till the 9th of April.
Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections, scheduled on the 11th of April 2019.
The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections are the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the TDP and the JanaSena Party.
The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
