The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) will soon release the Party manifesto for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the President of the TDP, on the 5th of April, confirmed, the Party will release its manifesto on the occasion of Ugadi.

Ugadi marks the New Year for the people of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana. Ugadi will be celebrated on the 6th of April and on this auspicious day, the TDP will release its manifesto for the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.

Under the supervision of Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, the Finance Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the Committee drafted the Party manifesto.

The TDP took a long time to release the Party manifesto, as it was scared the opposition parties would copy its manifesto.

Among the three major opposition parties in AP, the Pawan Kalyan led JanaSena Party was the first one to release the manifesto. The TDP and the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) will release the manifesto on the same day, the 6th of April.

All the major parties in the State are campaigning in full swing for the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP, which is also the ruling Party of Andhra Pradesh, is all set to compete against the opposition parties and is confident about winning the AP elections.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting in Andhra Pradesh are the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
