N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 29th of March, alleged the opposition parties of being anti Andhra.

During a teleconference with the leaders of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) Naidu said, “The BJP, TRS, YSRCP are anti Andhra parties. They all should face worst defeat ever in the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. We will not get trapped in the YSR Congress’ luring; will not be afraid of the BJP and TRS’ threatening. We will save the self respect of Andhrites and boost their self confidence. Our aim is achieving a happy state.”

Taking a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Naidu claimed, the PM Modi led BJP is scared of losing, hence the Party is using their power and ordering the Income Tax (IT) Department to conduct IT raids.

The comments came after the IT Department conducted several raids at the residences of the members of opposition parties.

On the occasion of the 38th year of the formation of the TDP, Naidu also motivated the Party members to achieve the goal of winning the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu said, the Party should continue the legacy of N.T. Rama Rao, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the founder of the TDP.

While addressing the Party members, Naidu also criticised Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the YSRCP. He said, voting for Jagan Mohan Reddy would be voting for criminals, as the YSRCP is “a party of criminals.”
