The Andhra Pradesh HC also dismissed several other petitions seeking proceeding with the other petitions filed by the farmers of the State against the three capitals issues.

The Andhra Pradesh Court today heard a petition against the construction of a guest house in Visakhapatnam.

The petitioners said the guest house is a part of the capital construction and would be later changed to the camp/CM office in the City.

The petitioners said the guest house is being built on a large scale and claimed it to be part of a Capital move.

In 2019 December, the Andhra Pradesh Government proposed to have three capitals, Amaravati, Visakhapatnam and Kurnool for Andhra Pradesh.

Farmers even held a Maha Padayatra along with villagers to protest against the decision of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

The hearing was concluded with the direction for the Andhra Pradesh High Court.

The court ordered the State Government to submit details of the Visakhapatnam guest house plan.

On the other hand, the High Court asked the petitioners to approach the court if the construction of the guest house would be changed to CM office.
