Amaravati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep shock and grief over the tragic road accident in Anantapur district on Saturday, which claimed the lives of seven daily-wage earners.
The incident occurred at Kalagasupalle in Garladinne mandal when an RTC bus collided with an auto, killing all seven passengers on the spot. The victims were en route to their workplace when the unfortunate mishap took place.
Conveying his condolences to the bereaved families, the Chief Minister assured them of the state government’s support during this challenging time. He announced an ex gratia of ₹5 lakh for each family of the deceased, emphasizing the government’s commitment to assisting the affected.
In addition, Mr. Naidu directed the district officials to ensure that the injured, if any, receive the best medical treatment available. He instructed them to prioritize relief measures and extend all necessary help to the victims’ families.
The Chief Minister’s swift response underscores the government’s focus on mitigating the impact of such tragedies and providing timely assistance.
