Amaravati: Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, resumed his Praja Darbar after a month-long gap, addressing a flurry of complaints from citizens across the state. Residents queued up at his official residence in Undavalli to share their grievances, hoping for quick resolutions.
After patiently listening to the attendees, Mr. Lokesh assured them of immediate action and forwarded the complaints to the respective departments. In some cases, he took prompt measures by directly instructing officials to address the issues.
A significant portion of the complaints involved objectionable social media posts. Mr. Lokesh pledged to work on a permanent solution to curb such practices. Notably, Mrs. Kamireddy Jayasree from Eluru complained that her husband, a former YSRCP social media coordinator, was harassing her with objectionable posts. Mr. Lokesh promised a thorough investigation and necessary action.
Mee-Seva operators sought his intervention to secure a role in WhatsApp services, to which the Minister assured appropriate action after reviewing the matter. Similarly, Mr. Bejjam Rama Krishna Rao of Tadepalli requested job opportunities for his children, which the Minister promised to address soon.
This citizen-centric initiative demonstrates Mr. Lokesh’s commitment to resolving public issues efficiently.
