Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy made an impactful post on the X platform, marking a significant milestone in farmer welfare a year after the assembly elections. Reflecting on the achievements of his government, he highlighted how farmers’ votes had ushered in a wave of change that transformed their lives.

“One year ago, a farmer cast his vote for change at the polling booth, and today, their trust in us has become history,” said Revanth Reddy. He outlined a range of farmer-centric initiatives implemented since his government took charge, including the waiver of Rs. 2 lakh in loans, Rs. 7,625 crore in farmer insurance, and Rs. 10,444 crore for free electricity. Additionally, he pointed out the Rs. 1433 crore allocated for crop insurance, Rs. 95 crore in compensation for crop loss, and Rs. 10,547 crore spent on grain purchases.

Revanth Reddy also emphasized that these figures represent not just financial support, but the trust that farmers have placed in his government. The CM invited everyone to join him in Mahbub Nagar for the closing ceremony of the Rythu Pandaga, a farmer’s festival, to celebrate these achievements.
