
Amaravati, June 15: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday, condemned the demolition of Praja Vedika, labeling it a symbol of the YSRCP’s destructive governance. He declared that the ruins of this building would remain as a testament to the previous regime’s actions.
During an informal media interaction at the TDP central office, Mr. Naidu emphasized his commitment to transparency and accessibility, promising no barriers or restrictions when engaging with the public. Adhering to security protocols, he plans to be as available to the people as possible.
Mr. Naidu shared his vision of directly receiving and addressing public grievances, contemplating whether to hold such interactions at the State Secretariat or a separate platform. He stressed the importance of providing comprehensive facilities at these venues to ensure public comfort and convenience. The demolition of Praja Vedika necessitated this rethinking, he noted.
Addressing the remains of Praja Vedika, Mr. Naidu criticized the demolition as indicative of the previous government’s devastating rule, stating, “We will keep it as a symbol and a sign of that government.”
Looking ahead, Mr. Naidu promised increased activity within the State Secretariat and capital region, with enhanced infrastructure to support growing needs. He announced his upcoming field visits would begin with a tour to Polavaram
