
Amaravati: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of utilizing space research for the country’s development, stressing that increased awareness of space science from an early age is crucial. During a meeting at his Hyderabad residence on Sunday, Pawan Kalyan met with Russian cosmonaut Sergey Korsakov and representatives of Space Kidz India. The Deputy CM expressed the government’s commitment to encouraging students to pursue careers in science and become future scientists.
Pawan Kalyan honored Sergey Korsakov, who spent six months in space, by presenting him with a model of the Chandrayaan-3 rocket. He engaged in a detailed conversation with Sergey about the unique experiences and research conducted during his time in space. In appreciation, a special feast featuring Russian cuisine was prepared for the cosmonaut.
Dr. Keshan, Founder and CEO of Space Kidz India, urged the Deputy CM to establish a space park to spark students’ interest in space science. The meeting also included the participation of Space Kidz India representatives Yajnasai, B. Arjunar, and Saitanya, who shared their vision of fostering a culture of innovation and scientific curiosity among young minds in India.
