
Hyderabad: The inaugural World Kamma Mahasabha will take place at HICC, Hyderabad on July 20-21, organized by the Kamma Global Federation (KGF). Jetty Kusum Kumar, founder of the organization, announced that prominent figures including former Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu, AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, and Telangana CM Revanth Reddy will be the chief guests.
Kusuma Kumar highlighted the significance of the Kamma community, which comprises 2.1 crore people globally, accounting for 1.5 percent of India’s population. The KGF aims to unite this community on a single platform, focusing on skill development in rural areas, farmer support, organizing meetings, fostering connections with other social classes, and honoring individuals for their exceptional contributions.
The Hyderabad conference will address various key topics, including the exchange of intellectual property, information sharing among Kamma families, support for disadvantaged families, management of service programs, recognition of outstanding individuals, youth and political empowerment, agricultural support, and investment and job opportunities.
This event marks a significant step towards empowering the Kamma community and promoting their growth and development on a global scale.
