Vijayawada: AP Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said that he felt pity for YS Sharmila Reddy, who assumed charge as the president of AP Congress. Sajjala condemned Sharmila’s comments against the state government.
Countering Sharmila’s comments of special category status, Sajjala said, “Congress party betrayed the state by bifurcation. It would have placed special status in the AP Reorganization Act if it really wishes to give special status. But they ignored it then and started a political game now,” Sajjala said.
Sajjala said that everyone in the state saw how Congress harassed the family of YS Rajasekhar Reddy after his death. But Sharmila joined Congress now and started targeting us. Her body language and speech got transformed after she took charge as APCC President, Sajjala added.
Sajjala said that people of AP are happy with the ruling of YS Jagan and they are experiencing the people’s friendly ruling which reminds them of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
