Amaravati: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) AP Unit president K Atchannaidu requested the AP chief secretary K S Jawahar Reddy to call back the orders issued permitting CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to hire two helicopters.
Atchannaidu alleged that hiring helicopters for party programs with public money is a violation of election code.
He wrote a letter to Jawahar Reddy on Monday and said that the government should not waste Rs. 3.84 crores public money in the name of helicopters for CM. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is using these choppers to attend his own party programs, he said.
Atchanna demanded CS to hold the orders with immediate effect and take appropriate action.Sources said that Telugu Desam is heading to raise a complaint with election commission of India alleging misuse of public money by CM Jagan.
Atchanna alleged that YSRCP erased the thin line between party programs and official programs and used public programs for political speeches.
