K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 10th of November, condoled with the family of Army jawan R. Mahesh.
On the 8th of November, R. Mahesh died during a firing at the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil, Jammu and Kashmir.
Mr. Rao said R. Mahesh would be remembered in history as one who sacrificed his life for India.
KCR also met his family members, parents and wife.
In addition, the Telangana Chief Minister also announced a government job to a family member of Mahesh and Rs. 50 lakhs as financial aid. The job would be given based on the qualification of the individual.
Mr. Rao also said a house site would also be allotted to the family of R. Mahesh.
The last rites of the Army jawan was held on the 10th of November with full state honours at his native Komanpally in the Velpur mandal of Nizamabad district.
