Guntur: Narasaraopet MP and Vignan Educational Institutions head Lavu Sri Krishnadevarayalu announced his joining in Telugu Desam party. He recently resigned from ruling YSRCP stating personal reasons.
Krishnadevarayalu on Monday wrote a letter addressing the people of Palnadu area and said that he wishes to contest as Narasaraopet MP once again. Lavu said that he strived hard in the last five years to develop the Palnadu region.
Lavu who hails from Kamma community has a strong net worth and he is son of renowned academician Lavu Rathiah. Krishnadevarayalu was upset over YSRCP’s stand on shifting capital to Vishakapatnam and stayed away from party activities. He added that he faced many issues to get funds and key projects for his constituency.
Krishnadevarayalu is set to join Telugu Desam in the presence of TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and start campaigning from March 1, 2024. He wished that the people of Narasaraopet parliament would bless him once again to develop the region.
