Chittoor: Chittoor MLA Arani Srinivasulu resigned from YSRCP on Wednesday. He set to join Jana Sena officially on Thursday in the presence of party chief Pawan Kalyan. Srinivasulu alleged that YSRCP betrayed the entire Balija community at Rayalaseema.
Addressing the media here on Wednesday, Srinivasulu alleged that YSRCP intentionally ignored him though he stood first in conducting the ‘Gadapa, Gadapaku’ campaign. “YSRCP denied Chittoor MLA seat for me as they have another obligation. They promised Rajya Sabha and later failed to fulfill the promise,” Srinivasulu said.
He added that CM Jagan offered the APIIC chairman post for him and later denied it. “This government gave nothing for the development of constituencies. I have asked Rs.29 crores for road repairs and the government denied my proposal. Rs. 73 crores was pending for my own construction company,” Arani said.
He alleged that only a few leaders are able to get bills cleared in the YSRCP government.
