On the 18th of September, 400 JanaSena Party workers’ Twitter accounts were suspended without any prior notice or warning. According to JanaSena leaders, the protests and campaigns regarding the Nallamala Forest could be the reason Twitter India took the decision.
However, on the 20th of September, Twitter restored the Twitter handles of the 400 JanaSena Party workers, leaders and activists.
The reason for the immediate restoration of the accounts could be the pressure by the fans and supporters of Pawan Kalyan, who demanded all the accounts be unblocked immediately.
Stay tuned for further updates.
