Senior Journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao Appointed As Chairman Of AP Press Academy

The Andhra Pradesh Government appointed a senior journalist Mr. Kommineni Srinivasa Rao as the Chairman of the Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh.

As per the direction of Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) issued a G.O., (government order) in this regard.  As per the issued G.O., Mr. Kommineni Srinivasa Rao would be holding the new Cabinet rank position for a period of two years, with effect from the 7th of November.

In addition, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the General Administration Department of the State Government to draw and disburse the pay and allowances to the new Chairman of the Press Academy of Andhra Pradesh.  The released allowances and payment would be on par with the Cabinet Ministers, from the date of assumption of charge.  Mr. Kommineni Srinivasa Rao succeeded Mr. Devireddy Srinath Reddy.

Highlights Of Kommineni Srinivasa Rao as a Journalist:

Highlighting the career of Mr. K. Srinivasa Rao, he started as a journalist in the year 1978 at Eenadu, the largest circulated Telugu language newspaper in Andhra Pradesh.  He served in various capacities before joining Andhra Jyothi as Bureau Chief in 2002.   He also worked as Chief Editor at NTV from 2007 and as Editor of TV5 from September 2007.

Later, after 2007, he began conducting KSR live a show on Sakshi TV, in morning debate and is said to be a great supporter of the YSRCP.

Besides being a prominent journalist, Mr. Kommineni Srinivasa Rao is also a published author and penned various books.
