Kadapa: AP Congress party president YS Sharmila intensified efforts to strengthen the party. Sharmila on Monday met former minister D L Ravindra Reddy and invited him to join Congress.
Sharmila along with senior leader Tulasi Reddy met Ravindra Reddy at Kadapa and discussed state politics. Sharmila explained her efforts to revive Congress and south the support of DL Ravindra Reddy.
“Congress party is the DNA of Dr. Ravindra Reddy. His services are beneficial for the party,” Sharmila said. After assuming charge as APCC chief Sharmila met almost seven senior leaders who are close to her father YSR. She added that Congress will continue to fight against the evil ruling of YS Jagan.
Sharmila spent a busy day at Kadapa on Monday and met party leaders. She sought the support of locals at Idupulapaya in defeating YSRCP. Sharmila is likely to take up novel protests on skyrocketed power and fuel charges in the state.
