The Telangana Government initiatedIndia’s largest T-Hub facility for innovation and entrepreneurship will soon be bigger than now.
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government assured the T-Hub 2.0, would be ready by March end 2021.
T-Hub is an operational space renting offices and meeting spaces with services such as connections with mentors and investors, to startup companies in the technology sector.
The new T-Hub 2.0., is 3.5 lakh square feet and would be built at a cost of Rs. 276 crores.
According to sources, the building would have 1,500 startups, which would be the largest startup incubation centre in the world.
Besides the new T-Hub 2.0., T-Hub which was initiated five years ago has helped more than 1,120 startups gain an investment worth Rs. 1,800 crores. The T-Hub provided employment to over 2,500 people in Hyderabad.
T-Hub is a partnership between the Government of Telangana, three academic institutions in Hyderabad, which are the International Institute of Information Technology, the Indian School of Business and the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, and the private sector.
The State has seen a rise in the number of startups from 400 a few years ago to about 2,000 now.
It designed and delivered more than 75 innovation programmes in five years and had enabled more than 325 international startup connects.
