On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, made key comments about the education sector and teacher employment in the Telugu State.
Furthermore, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also spoke about employee concerns, cancellation of the classroom performance system (CPS) and teachers’ objections to the face recognition app. Addressing the media on the 5th of September, Monday, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “The Government has no intention of troubling the teachers and employees.” He said the changes are being made to provide free quality education and a better future for the children in the State.
The Andhra Pradesh CM said, “We are working sincerely for a good solution to the pension issue and opined that they have a government that is sympathetic to the public sector and employees.” In addition, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said, while his party is doing good work for the State, the opposition is provoking the teachers, hence they are raising objections over recently implemented face recognition and biometric attendance of teachers.
On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy also honoured the best teachers in Vijayawada, during an event organised by the concerned district authority. The Guru Pujotsavam festival was organized by government officials in Vijayawada, at a convention centre in Vijayawada.
