Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) launched the second phase of the Nadu Nedu Programme for the Education Department.
On the 16th of August, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government released Rs. 4,446 crores to remodel state run schools.
Under the Nadu Nedu initiative of the YSRCP Government, the State Government would enhance the education system and the infrastructure in schools of Andhra Pradesh.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, released the amount of Rs. 4,446 crores during an event at a Zila Parishad High School in P. Gannavaram Mandal in East Godavari district. During the event, the Chief Minister explained the initiative and the steps taken by his Government. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the State Government launched all the schemes considering the future of the students in Andhra Pradesh. In addition, the State Government also announced the distribution of Jagananna Vidya Kanuka kits to 4.73 crore students studying in government and aided schools for the academic year 2021-22.
In addition, Mr. Adimulapu Suresh, the Education Minister of Andhra Pradesh, said, under the second phase of the Nadu Nedu program, the State Government would remodel 16,000 schools.
It is to be noted, in the first phase of the Nadu Nedu programme, the YSRCP Government had spent Rs. 3,600 crores and began the renovation of 15,715 schools.
With this, the Andhra Pradesh Government would also begin schools and primary offline classes from the 16th of August, 2021.
