Tadepalli: On the occasion of World Fisheries Day, YSRCP President and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy extended his heartfelt greetings to fishermen and reiterated his dedication to their welfare.

Taking to social media platform X, Jagan Mohan Reddy highlighted the transformative measures implemented during his tenure to uplift the fishing community in Andhra Pradesh.

“Our government prioritized the welfare of fishermen by constructing 10 fishing harbors and 6 fish landing centers with an investment of ₹3,767.48 crore. To support fishermen during the fishing ban period, financial assistance of ₹10,000 was provided to approximately 1,23,519 families. Additionally, subsidized diesel was introduced to ease operational costs,” he shared in a tweet.
