The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit Paris, to attend an event for his daughter.
On the 22nd of June, Wednesday, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said that the CM’s visit to Paris has been finalized. They said he would depart on the night of the 28th of this month and arrive in Paris on the 29th of June.
Furthermore, the officials said that the visit to Paris was because of his daughter’s graduation day. During his Paris visit, Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would attend the graduation day celebrations of his his eldest daughter Harsha Reddy who completed her Post Graduation (MBA) at Insead Business School.
It is said that the chief minister would return on the 2nd of July.
Meanwhile, Mr. Y.S, Jagan Mohan Reddy had requested the CBI court 10 days ago to allow him to go to Paris while CBI filed a counter in the court that the request should be denied and explained that he is going abroad for some reasons, which could have an impact on the trial.
However, there are doubts as to whether the Jagan tour will continue as the visit was finalized before getting permission from the court. The final permission from the CBI Court is awaited.
