Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 21st of November, visited East Godavari and promised the people the AP administration would be decentralised.
After concluding his long march in the area, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed the people of East Godavari and said the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) would improve the governance in the State.
Mr. Reddy said the YSRCP would work towards better governance and increase the number of districts from 13 to 25 for efficiency.
Jagan Mohan Reddy also said the YSRCP would establish a transparent and honest government, unlike the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the former Government of AP. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the TDP and the former Chief Minister of AP, cheated the citizens of Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan criticised Chandrababu Naidu and said he ditched the people for the past 4.5 years and was always concerned about the welfare of his friends and close ones, but not the people of AP.
Jagan Mohan Reddy assured the public the YSRCP would introduce several schemes for their welfare and establish a transparent Government.
YSRCP ministers, leaders, workers and activists attended the public meeting.
