On the 9th of November, the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases increased to 8,553,657.
The Union Health Ministry on the morning of the 9th of November, confirmed 45,903 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
While the new positive cases stood at 45,903, recovery cases were 48,405 and deceased were 490.
With this, India reported 8,553,657 positive cases, of which 509,673are active cases, 7,917,373 are recovered/discharged cases and 1,26,611 are deceased.
India’s recovery rate also improved to 92.56 %, whereas the positive cases rate is 7.23 %.
India’s cumulative positive COVID-19 rate was 7.94 % on the 21st of October and decreased to 7.23 % on the 8th of November.
Of all the Indian states, Maharashtra, Delhi and West Bengal reported an increase in the single day spike of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
In addition, besides Maharashtra, Delhi and West Bengal, states like Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Telangana reported the highest number of Novel Coronavirus cases.

Meanwhile, under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Hyderabad based pharma company Bharat Biotech International Private Limited are conducting trials to launch COVID-19 vaccine.
However, the vaccine would be ready in mid 2021 and for mass production , the vaccine is likely to be available in early 2022.
An official announcement regarding the vaccine launch is yet to be made.
