On the 1st of September, Telangana recorded 2,734 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
Of the total 2,734 new cases, 27 are from Adilabad, 117 from Bhadradri, 347 from areas under GHMC, 91 from Jagtial, 47 from Jangaon, 15 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 42 from Jogulamba Gadwal, 72 from Kamareddy, 106 from Karimnagar, 161 from Khammam, 16 from Komaram Bheem Asifabad, 66 from Mahabubnagar, 81 from Mahabubabad, 96 from Mancherial, 43 from Medak, 121 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 24 Mulugu, 48 from Nagarkurnool, 191 from Nalgonda, 18 from Narayanpet, 39 from Nirmal, 114 from Nizamabad, 74 from Peddapalli, 49 from Rajanna Sircilla, 212 from Rangareddy, 16 from Sangareddy, 109 from Siddipet, 107 from Suryapet, 12 from Vikarabad, 55 from Wanaparthy, 30 from Warangal Rural, 112 from Warangal Urban and 76 from Yadadri Bhongir.
While with 2,734 cases, the total increased to 1,27,696, with 9 fatalities, death toll reached 836.
Meanwhile, a total of 2,325 people recovered till the 1st of September, taking the overall recoveries to 95,162.
With these updates, Telangana has 1,27,696 positive cases, of which 31,699 are active cases, 95,162 recovered/discharged and 836 deceased.
Of the positive cases As many as 24,598 patients were under home isolation across the State and 7,101 positive cases are in institutional care.
Speaking of the tests conducted, according to the released media bulletin, the Telangana Health authorities conducted 58,264 COVID-19 tests in the State with pending reports of 878 samples.
With this till the 1st of September, Telangana conducted 14,23,846 COVID-19 tests.
In addition the recovery rate of COVID-19 in Telangana stood at 74.50 % while the countrywide recovery rate is at 76.94 per cent.
Mortality rate in Telangana is 0.70% and average growth rate is 2.50%.
