On the 15th of April, Telangana reported 3,307 fresh Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases. The COVID-19 update of Telangana was updated through a media bulletin released by the State Health Department.
According to the released media bulletin, of the total 3,307 cases, the highest number were reported from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC,) with
over 3.38 lakh, while the toll rose to 1,788 with eight more fatalities, the state government said on Thursday.
446 cases, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri (314) and Nizamabad (279.) The remaining cases were reported from the other districts of the State.
Besides 3,000 plus new cases, Telangana also reported 897 recoveries and 8 fatalities. With this, Telangana now has 3,38,045 positive cases, of which 3,08,396 recovered/discharged, 27,861 are active cases and 1,788 deceased cases.
Meanwhile, on the 14th of April, 1.06 lakh samples were tested for COVID-19, taking the cumulatively total of sample tested over 1.13 crores. Telangana has a recovery rate of COVID-19 at 91.22 % and fatality rate is at 0.52 %.
In addition, according to a separate release, over 21.35 lakh people in the state have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine while over 3.22 lakh got their second shot also as of the 14th of April.
