Hyderabad: Actress Aarthi Agarwal, who passed away on Saturday, was under a lot of pressure during the end of her career, said Suresh Babu, who launched her in the Tollywood. Suresh Babu said when he was looking for a female lead in the movie “Nuvvu Naku Nachav”, he saw Aarthi and thought she would be perfect for the role and roped in opposite Venkatesh.
He said during the end of her career, she struggled a lot with her weight and started losing control over herself.
He added that her parents also didn’t help and put a lot of pressure on her to succeed. Suresh said her father didn’t allow her to have a personal life, when she wanted it. He said that he tried to advice her father on sets but he was not interested.
Suresh said that he lost touch with her and he recently heard that she was trying to make a comeback into films.
Aarthi Agarwal, who conquered many hearts with her acting, passed away at the age of 31 in New Jersey on Saturday. She breathed her last after her health deteriorated following a liposuction surgery.
It is learnt that she was battling obesity and pulmonary illness and she suffered a cardiac arrest while undergoing treatment.
