Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in by far considered as the best speaker of the current generation. He is one of the few leaders in the world who doesn’t need a script to address the world media. His speech in Madison Square has earned him the spot among the World greatest speakers. But in the recent times his each and every step is scrutinized by the opposition parties. In the recent past, twitterati fired against him when he made some controversial comments at Chinese gathering. Now, is infamously trending again in twitter with the hashtag ‘#DespiteBeingAWoman’.
Going into the details, Indian Prime Minister is on a two- day foreign tour to neighboring country Bangladesh. While talking at university of Dhaka, Mr Modi said, “We know solution for everything, but not terrorism, I am happy that Bangladesh Prime Minister, despite being a woman, has declared zero tolerance for terrorism.”
Actually the statement was meant to be a compliment but it seems to have gone sour. While the Indian Prime Minister’s intention was to praise his counterpart Sheikh Hasina for her courage in fighting terrorism, his ‘Despite Being A Woman’ comment was misinterpreted and is now getting earful from the micro blogging sites.
