Mumbai: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made heads turn with her looks at Cannes 2015, is expected to go de-glam for her forthcoming film on late Sarabjit Singh. The actress will be playing a role of Dalbir Kaur Singh, sister of Sarabjit Singh, in the biopic.
It is learnt that the look of Aishwarya has not decided but the makers are planning to opt the look, which character demands. It is heard that the research department would sit and decide on the Aishwarya’s look. According to the makers, Aishwarya would go for de-glam as movie is based on a real story. The look test is expected to complete in July.
Filmmaker Omung Kumar will direct the flick and is expected to hit floors by October. The major portion of the shooting will take in Punjab. It is heard that the makers are extremely happy after casting Aishwarya in the film as she is one among the actresses, who justifies their roles with ease.
At present, the former beauty queen is busy with her much-hyped upcoming film “Jazbaa”, being directed by Sanjay Gupta. The action drama will open in theatres on October 9, 2015. Apart from “Jazbaa”, the actress will also be seen in a multi-starrer flick of Karan Johar. It seems that actress is on a roll with handful of prominent projects in the B-wood after taking a sabbatical post the birth of her daughter Aaradhya.
