Angry Indian Goddesses receives standing ovation at Rome Film Festival

Mumbai: At the 10th Rome Film Festival, Bollywood movie titled “Angry Indian Goddesses” received an eight-minute long standing ovation by the reviewers and critics. Directed by Pan Nalin, the film achieved an incredible feat at the fest. The filmmaker was overwhelmed for the response. Produced by Gaurav Dhingra, Pan Nalin, and co-produced by Sol Bondy and Jamila Wenske, the movie bagged the BNL People’s Choice Award at the fest.

In a statement, Pan Nalin said, “Italian audience has been very generous to me and my movies, I have a special connection with this country as I often choose to come and write here. So tonight’s reaction reconfirms how universal Angry Indian Goddesses is! It seems all women are connecting to Angry indian Goddesses almost all over the world.”

“Angry Indian Goddesses” is an Hindi drama. The flick stars Pavleen Gujral, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Sandhya Mridul, Amrit Maghera, Rajshri Deshpande and Anushka Manchanda in major roles.
