It is already known that SS Rajamouli’s upcoming Magnum opus is releasing on 10th of this month. As part of the film promotions, Baahubali team organized a press meet on Tuesday.
The film director Rajamouli along with his producers Shobu Yarlagadda, DVV Danayya and others were present at this meet. The ace producer Allu Arvind also made a surprising addition into the mix.
During the press meet SS Rajamouli and Allu Arvind requested the audience and fans to work together for stopping the piracy.
During the conversation, some of the journalists countered Rajamouli’s statement with the reasoning that the excessive ticket charges might be the reason being the increase in piracy.
The director reacted to the question with a voice of hostility stating that the piracy was encouraged even when the ticket pricing was way lower. This resulted in a miniature chaos during the press meet.
Just when the things were getting out of hand, Allu Arvind interfered in the middle to calm the situation. “Media people are the ones who will take Baahubali to the people. It is unnecessary for us to quarrel among ourselves. Please co operate with us,” he said.
The media representatives later made some allegations that the film unit is giving the personal interviews to selected media houses.
This time Baahubali producer, Shobu responded on the incident and clarified that they were working on a schedule for the interviews.
The statement received a huge uproar from the media representatives which brought the press meet to an unceremonious halt as the director and producers rushed off from the place.
