Randeep Hooda has been in the news for various reasons over time. The most famous one was for his comment ‘HaHa’ on Gurmehar Khan’s post. Many media houses and social media netizens condemned this. While there was widespread criticism, there were very few supporters.
Hooda has now decided to speak about religious intolerance in India. This was the same issue that started a discussion about differences between ‘nationalists,’ ‘anti-nationalists’ and ‘pseudo-nationalists.’ It also cannot be denied that this is the same issue that has divided the nation into different parts.
After months of discussion on the issue, Randeep has come up with an explanation that few can deny. He wrote, “Just look around you at your friends who belong to different castes, communities and religions.”
While we cannot expect that one post can change the level of tolerance in the country, we can hope at least few minds to be enlightened by this post.
