From Jimmy Fallon’s hilarious hosting to Meryl Streep’s thought provoking acceptance speech, Golden Globes 2017 was a treat for the audience. As the best of the best of Hollywood came together to celebrate the superlative, we witnessed glamour, camaraderie and great joy.
We also saw some records being broken with “La La Land” sweeping the award for every nomination and becoming the first film ever to win seven of the globes. Then there was “Elle” who also came out as the highlight with Isabelle Huppert winning the Best Actress in Motion Drama category. But above all the three things that were top notch this year were the red carpet looks, which didn’t disappoint, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon’s own brand of great humour and Meryl Streep’s amazing words resonated with everybody. The fine actress, who was awarded with the Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, spoke about how diversity is paramount in such a business as Film Industry and how an arts greatness is defined by how humble the artist can be. As usual she stole the show and our hearts.
Also take a look at the stars who shone on the red carpet on the evening of January 8th 2017 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
