Las Vegas Declares ‘Anupam Kher Day’ on September 10

Mumbai: Las Vegas declared ‘Anupam Kher Day’ on September 10 in the name of Bollywood actor Anupam Kher. He has been awarded for his incredible contribution to cinema and art globally in Nevada.

On September 10 Anupam Kher was presented with the ‘Certificate of Excellence’ in Las Vegas by Nevada Senator Ruben Kihuen. The actor was showered with loads of praises by Mr Kihuen.

Mr Kihuen said, “Thank you for bringing such an extraordinary performance to Las Vegas and various other cities across USA. It has been an honour to meet and watch the cinematic genius live on stage.”

Mr Kher said, “It is said that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But this honour by the State of Nevada will not stay only in Vegas but will travel to the world and to my beloved country and prove my philosophy of ‘life mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai’.”

Mr Kher received several awards and recognition for his commendable contribution to cinema and art. He won accolades for his his play “Mera Woh Matlab Nahin Tha”. The 60-year-old actor will perform on September 11 and 12 in San Francisco and the tour will end on September 13 in Los Angeles.
