Mumbai: Former cricketer and BJP leader Navjot Singh Sidhu is recovering well. Sidhu was admitted to a private hospital and is undergoing treatment for acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). On Thursday, doctors said that his health condition is stable and he is recovering well.
The authorities of hospital in a statement said that he is being treated by their team of experts and he is making a steady recovery. The statement added that he is medically stable and no surgery or intervention is being planned for now.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and expressed his concern over Sidhu’s health. Mr Modi also wished him a speedy recovery.
