Nani replaces Dulquer Salman in Mani Ratnam’s next

Chennai: Filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s next project is one of the most expected movies in the Kollywood and Tollywood as well. Earlier, reports surfaced in media that Malayalam star Dulquer Salman has been roped in for a lead role in the film, which is yet-untitled. The movie also features actor Karthi in a major role.

Now, tinsel town in abuzz with a latest update. Reports say that actor Nani has reportedly replaced Dulquer Salman in the much-hyped Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

As per reports, Nani met Mani Ratnam at his office and signed the film. Salman is busy with two other Malayalam films and allocate dates for Mani’s film, so Nani took up the film and signed the dotted line.

The director delayed the project a couple of weeks ago. Earlier, the movie was slated to hit floors in December. Following the delay in the film, Dulquer opeted to walk out of the project as he busy with Malayalam films, according to reports.

The untitled movie also features Nithya Menon and Keerthy Suresh in major roles. However, with this Nani’s dream came true to work with ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam.
