“Phantom” Is Not “Anti-Pakistan” But “Anti-Terrorism”: Kabir Khan

Mumbai: Filmmaker Kabir Khan said that his upcoming film “Phantom” was based on anti-terrorism but not on anti-Pakistan. The release of the Bollywood movie was banned in Pakistan. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif in major roles, the film is one of the most looked-for movies of 2015. The thriller is all set for a grand release across the globe on August 28, 2015.

Kabir said that he was feeling a bit strange as the film was banned even before it reached the Censor Board. He added that it was not an anti-Pakistan one but based on anti-terrorism. The film is all about the masterminds of 26/11 attack.

Lead actor Saif Ali Khan also said that the movie is based on facts. The court of Pakistan issued a ban on the release of the flick in the country on a plea filed by Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. In the plea, Saeed, alleged that the movie “Phantom” set on post the attacks of 26/11 and contains ‘filthy propaganda’ against him and his outfit.
