Mumbai: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is set to enter the wed-lock. She is gearing up to marry her boyfriend Gene Goodenough in the United States. After the marriage, the couple is expected to host a wedding reception for her B-Town friends. The private ceremony will be held in the US with just a few friends and family in attendance.
Though, the actress chose to remain tight-lip over the wedding news, reports surfaced in the media that the couple will put out their wedding pictures for an auction. It is heard that the proceeds generated out of the auction will be contributed towards the Preity Zinta Foundation, which works towards educating children and old age home rehabilitation.
If reports are to be believed the couple have decided to direct all the hype and anticipation surrounding their wedding into a charitable cause. The actress has been part of several charitable initiatives and maintained to avoid publicity as she is a private person. It is heard that the star couple wanted to celebrate the D-Day by raising funds to the society.
